Signature features include wide cabins (the Challenger 3500 has the widest cabin in its class, at 2.19 m) and the Smooth Flĕx wing on the Global 7500.

The Challenger 604/605/650 is one of the most widely produced large jets, with over 1,100 aircraft produced and a fleet dispatch rate exceeding 99.7%. It's 1,000-1,500 km longer than the VLJ, has a full-size toilet, and twice the luggage space. It's also cheaper than the mid-size jet: the $1 costs 500-2,500 rubles per hour, but the cabin is lower (you can't stand up straight) and there's no separate crew compartment. The choice is as follows: 2-4 hours of flying with four people is the Easy Jet; 5+ hours, 8+ people, or a standing cabin is required—the Mid-size Jet.

The range is wide: Learjet 40XR/45XR — $2–3.5 million, Nextant 400XTi — $2.2–3 million, CJ2+/CJ3 of the 2000s — $3.5–6 million, ten-year-old CJ3+ and Phenom 300 — $6.5–9 million, fresh Phenom 300E and CJ4 Gen 2 — $9–12.5 million. Three factors decide: engines on program or «empty» (difference up to $1.5 million), compliance of avionics with modern requirements and documented maintenance history.
