A new R66 costs $1.2–1.5 million depending on the configuration, while the R44 Raven II costs $0.6–0.75 million. The used car market is remarkably robust: after an overhaul, an R44 sells for practically the same price as a new one, while a five-year-old R66 only loses 10–15%. This is due to the huge demand for training and private transport, coupled with a shortage of supply: the factory can't keep up with orders.

Both are lightweight, five-seat gas turbine jets. The Bell 505 has more modern avionics (Garmin G1000H NXi as standard) and a roomier cabin, but costs from 1.7 million rubles for the $ versus 1.2–1.5 million rubles for the R66 and is approximately 50% more expensive to maintain. The R66 is lighter, more fuel-efficient (burn rate is ~85 liters per hour), and readily available on the used market. The Bell is more commonly used for naval use, while the Robinson is preferred for private ownership.
