Investment group Kirkbi A/S, the main shareholder of the LEGO Group, has announced the closure of its aviation division on February 28, 2025. The decision is due to a decrease in demand for corporate travel and an increased focus on sustainability.
The unit, which had been in operation for 63 years, owned three aircraft: a Falcon 2000LXS, a Falcon 7X and a Falcon 8X. Earlier, Danish company AP Moller-Maersk made a similar decision, ceasing corporate air transportation in 2023.
